Hmm, not an inspiring picture that one. I bet Max is taller if you raised his arm over his head too...

They need to change the wording from Largest to tallest methinks.

+1. I'd be 'taller' than griffin if I did a bunny ear with my hand behind his head. I'd like to see a normal standing comparison to show the difference in head height.

And as everyone has already noticed, tallest =/= largest.
At 229cm, Yao Ming may be taller than Dwayne Johnson (196cm) -- but Dwayne Johnson is physically the larger man. The thing about Fortress Maximus that makes him impressive isn't just his height, it's the sheer bulk of the toy to match! If people were only impressed by height alone, then Supreme Cheetor wouldn't have shelfwarmed as awfully as it did.

Fortress Maximus -- he's tall and he's tank!

Metroplex may not be the biggest but he is definately better looking than that blockhead Fort Max. Oh, and less stickers too!

But clearly if it's good doesn't matter, all that matters in imaginary pissing contest with a different toy.:P

The internets. Clearly. Hence complaints about "Oh no his shoulder is bent to make it look like he's patting the smaller bot on the head". Well that's what the photo said to me. And the subsequent complaints in various places about how it means they're trying to trick people with the size.

I'm excited for Metroplex (though I'd prefer an Ultra/Leader IDW Fort Max). The fact that he has modern toy engineering is a big draw, since I love to pose my toys and it does help them take up a little less room.
