    Default Bidoofdude's Thundercracker Cosplay

    Hello all,
I've been working on this for about a month or two now and I'd like to show you how I'm doing on my WIP Thundercracker Cosplay.
So far, I've done the head and the wings, which are shown below:

I think it's going pretty well so far.
Next I'll probably go for the arms or the main torso section, which will be attached to the wing portion.
Just a quick question: Should I spray (paint) the wings and head in their respective colours first, or should I make all the parts then paint?

Anyway, comment below on what you think and any advice you may have.

I'll give updates whenever I get a part or something finished.
Feel free to check out my Flickr whenever you want for pics of it so far or any other pics of mine.

hey that nice , i wait until you got everything and then paint because then you have the same consistent colour all round , if not you might forget how many coats you did the first set and then the second set will have a diffident tone in colour compare to the first set .Plus save you having to wash up to many time and waste paint. With the face you can try to get a mask from a costume store and build on from that like your helmet you have now . Well keep up the good work

The head/helmet is 3D already. It's all enclosed in a box like shape.

I still need to paint it, like I said before.
    No worries though.

I've added a base coat to the back of the wings.

I'll add a lighter coat, basically a sky blue via spray paint soon.
I think it's coming alright. The black lines, although a bit funny, give me a chibi sort of feel and are very cartoony, in my eyes at least.
