Mmm... yeah, this thread should be less gender-specific - asking more about whether people have any difficulty in getting dates, be it with girls or boys. Let's be more inclusive people!

yeah ive tried that didnt really work out that well.
otherwise i dont have any problem talking with girls its just a matter of meeting them, im not a big fan of clubs and such so that doesnt help and working in a male dominant crash repair industry is not the best for meeting the oopposite sex either.

If someone is really interested in you I doubt your transformer collection would do a thing to change that.

When I was single, I really struggled. I usually managed to only become friends with them. I struggled to give a good impression or something.
But that was when I was single..
My girlfriend was one of those girls who I had become friends with and then later we got closer.

Where's the "I don't need to meet girls/guys, I have my TF collection!" option?

I think my problem is more a case of "I don't really have the opportunity".

At high school I was seriously backward when it came to females, add to that I was on the bad end of the cool kids scale so I was NEVER invited to parties ... and of course had very few friends.

And those friends that I did have ended up leaving town for Uni. No point hanging around a small rural town anyway if you want a decent career.

Didn't really want to make friends with those that remained as their idea of a "career" is slinging bananas.

Hell I once had a former friend try to set me up with a girl who was proud of being a banana packer. Maybe i'm being picky but i'd like someone who's dreams are a little higher than bananas.

And i'm not one for partying either as I don't drink (taste buds don't seem to care too much for it) or even smoke and I sure as hell can't dance. Oh and I tend to be a little on the shy side so the thought of rocking up to a (or that should be "the") nightclub in town, grabbing a drink at the bar then going to chat up some chick and asking her to dance is just completely beyond me.

So even the few times that I have met a girl they soon find out just how boring I actually am as my conversations tend to revolve around geek stuff ... or they just don't get my sense of humour.

Plus there's the self-esteem issues where I don't feel i'm a decent enough person for someone else. Part of that stems from a dead end job that's going no where, though that's only for one more week before I start my new one!

I'm a bit of mix from shy to screwed up to just having no idea what the hell i'm doing with girls.

There are definitely some people who need a hell of alot of help when it comes to this subject...

Believe it or not, even Pulse gets the occasional rejection

I tell ya, If they only knew what they were missing...
