Nice work, I love all your guys at this forum that dig this cool information up for slackers and/or newbies like myself

    Thanks!

Definitely keeping my eye out for both of these... now to justify this as a present to myself to the wife

I live 5 hours away from the nearest TRU. Any idea if the Aussie TRU will let you either reserve Soundwave or order him online? Otherwise will have to rely on big city mates to find it for me, like the last Masterpiece Prime.

I think they are underestimating how quickly Soundwave will dissapear from the shelves. I know at least 3 mates of mine that don't collect Transformers except for about 1 a decade, yet are foaming at the mouth to get this figure! Next to Prime, I think Soundwave is the most recognized and popular character to the general populace from our era. Everyone always goes "Who was the tape deck dude with the cassette guys? He was cool!"

Have any TRUs accepted any requests to put one aside yet for Soundwave?
I might try sometime next week at my TRU.

I don't know if they have conventional layby's, but they did have something where if you spend over a certain amount you take it home & they deduct payments from you. Cant remember the full T&C's

I asked about that last time I was in store, they don't do it any more.
Now they have a similar type of layby system as everyone else, terms and conditions are below.

    Lay-Buy Terms and Conditions

    - A non refundable Administration Fee of $10.00 will be charged for each Lay-Buy
    - A minimum transaction value of $200, not including the Administration Fee, is required in order to create a Lay-Buy
    - A minimum deposit of 10% of the total of the Lay-Buy is required
    - Regular payments must be made fortnightly or weekly as part of the Lay-Buy payment plan
    - Lay-Buy payment plans can be 8 to 24 weeks in length, choose between online payment or in person at any Toys"R"Us store in Australia
    - A $2.90 Service Fee will be charged for each Lay-Buy per month. This allows you access to the Certegy site and online payment option. This monthly Fee is non refundable.
    - Your Lay-Buy must be collected by the due date
    - Toys"R"Us have the right to cancel your Lay-Buy without notice if you become 21 days in arrears
    - Individual items may not be separated from a Lay-Buy parcel
    - Toys"R"Us do not accept Amex or Diners card for Lay-Buy
    - Toys"R"Us have the right to store your Lay-Buy off site
    - Final payment must always be made at the store the Lay-Buy was created at
    - Prior to final payment, 5 working days notice is required for parcel collection. - Please contact your Toys”R”Us store to arrange a parcel pick up date.
    - Photo ID is needed when you commence a Lay-Buy, cancel a Lay-Buy or finalise a Lay-Buy.

hmmm don't think that would work though, if she dawdles and uhhms and aahhhs before deciding that it is a great gift for you... by that time it's already been scalped . best make it a gift , FOR YOURSELF by YOU hehehehe. She can get you the upcoming MPs instead heheh. Or you split it, you get Soundwave and she gets acid storm FOR you

Oh I meant convincing her before the arrival date, have a bit of time for that I hope

And of course it's going to be me from me, she's not going to buy it.
