Got my Fortress Maximus yesterday. He is hands-down my most expensive Transformers related purchase ever, however a lot more affordable than a second-hand one - and he's brand shiny new

Not sure what all this talk about double-taped is all about, mine is obviously the first batch and its single-taped. If I recall correctly, this rumour came from TFSource... maybe just so they can get their name in the news *shrugs*

Now I have a decision to make - to open or not to open I think I'll leave him sealed for now (that box art is sexy ).

They're fun - I like the way they retain their G1 scale. The piledrivers are good as a backpack, but don't seem to stay on Frenzy's arms so well. Also received Masterpiece Soundwave, Laserbeak, Rumble and Ravage (in the background), but I'm not yet 100% sure I want to open and keep those ones. (Edit: I've worked out how to click on the 'hammer arms'. Which means he's one of the least-flawed Masterpiece toys.)

My MP 15 & 16 also came in today from Chimungmung!! Can't wait to open them up tonight!!!

Me too. I was getting down this morning that he hadn't come yet, but I was in for a surprise.
Wish the chest unit was silver though, but it's still pretty snazzy already.
It's making me want Screamer SOOOOO bad!!!!
