I feel this way about quite a few of the BH figures. Typical we have these turning up on our shelves yet so many excellent Generations figures are slated to never reach our shores

I got this today as it was the last one in Target. I really like it. Transformation is intuitive but engaging, colours are cool, and despite what Griffin said above, it does still feel like Ratchet to me, especially with the ambulance markings. In vehicle mode it literally looks like Ratchet's vehicle mode with some sort of upgrade adding the rocky bits to it. The colours are cool as, particularly with the orange swirl, they make the tan parts look like they are sandstone or even bleached bone.

I think he's actually a three way homage, both to Dinobot and to Jurassic Park? He reminds me of the vehicles from that movie, which of course had a Kenner toyline like Beast Wars did.

In robot mode he is sturdy and has good articulation. He's also one of the best proportioned robot modes in terms of human-like shape I've seen for a while. His legs are actually in proportion to his upper body! I think one of my favourite things is that he has only a small amount of Hasbro metallic gray (the dullest colour on Earth) that shows through in this mode. The majority is still the tan colour.

A very good toy and an entertaining homage.

It's so hideously beautiful, I'm thinking of getting it from my local Target. I haven't bought any other figures from the Beast Hunters line (apart from PE Ultra Magnus) and this one looks really cool, something so odd about it.

    Is it worth getting?

The Japanese green Decepticon recolour makes this toy look a lot more interesting. In the Hasbro colours it's a definite pass.

Got mine via Amazon and love the little bugger. has some of the paint apps that the original should have had.

Easily my favourite Prime Deluxe figure and good competition to be my favourite overall with some of the legends class figures.

Could not really recommend him unless you too love Ratchet, Dinobot and do not think a merging of the two is some kind of abomination. Me though, I see it as some kind of unholy love child of Prime and BW continuities!

Definitely. I quite like the green they've used and have one on the way
