looking for info

don't know if this is the right spot but i'm looking for any info on this i've had it for as long as i can remember it's a robot that turns into a gun but don't know anything about it & it don't have any info on it just has ROGUN on it the info i'm looking for is like when it was made ,was there more than just this one etc

Hmm, I think I've seen one before, but I can't remember where, when or anything else about it....

I did a bit of poking around and found this-

It says it is a vintage 1984 transforming robot and rifle cap gun (called RO-GUN RGX-V1) by a company called ARCO.

The same searches also turned up similar RO-GUN cap gun and water pistol robots made by ARCO which were labelled as GOBOTS, so at a guess they were under license to make them for Tonka back in the 80s.
