The car mode is a thing of beauty and the robot mode looks pretty good, but lacks in articulation. Unfortunately the transformation is really awkward. Think movie ironhide but even worse in the mid-section.

I saw this guy in person today and he is a massive muscle car. All of them are quite large! I have to say of the ones of the shelves, he was the one who jumped out at me the most.
Iron Man really disappointed. It looked way too childish. The nose cone is way too fat and curvy and reminds me more of a Fisher Paykel/Tonka toy

I can't figure out the torsotransofrmation. there's that folding panel that just gets in the way. I've been at it for an hour. Those instructions are useless.
EDIT: Nevermind... figured it out. One of the pinned hinges just needed a lot of force to be positioned properly. It just didn't feel like it was supposed to bend in that direction. Remind me a bit of Ironhide's torso and that stud that needed a LOT of force to lock in.

Here's a pic of how my torso is transformed; where it seems like the rest (bonnet/shoulders etc) clips in as it should:

Thanks kurdt. I figured it out eventually. But thanks for the pic and I'm sure I won't be the last to wonder how the heck all those folding panels is meant to sandwich together. The key is that Lowest panel on the 3rd pin from the bottom. It folds out with some force.
EDIT: corrected kurdt's name. Apologies kind sir.
