    Pics of an unreleased/unproduced G2 Laser Optimus Prime Prototype trailer up at seibertron.com.

    Looks even more delicious than the existing G2 Prime trailer, but cost-prohibitive.

    Interesting that it had at least two more G2 gimmicks that didn't make the final cut.

    I would really, really, really like that trailer to be released. For some reason, I also really, really want it to be released in the Ultra Magnus colours of the mould, rather than the Prime ones.

    Some sort of bucket.... hahahahahaha.... what does prime need a bucket for anyway, searching for holes on flat tire interiors during vulcanizing? hilarious!

    That looks pretty awesome! I suspect that some of the features were cut back for budget reasons (i.e. to keep the toy within a predefined price point). It wouldn't be the first time that happened -- 1988's Powermaster Optimus Prime was meant to have a head that transformed into Roller, and the prototype Godbomber looked better than the final product; but these things were cut back because they would've made the final toys too expensive. Mebbe if they made an MP G2 Laser Prime...
