Not the greatest photo, but you get the idea. I'm planning to paint the Vortex and Blast Off parts, as well as add the purple camouflage pattern to the chest/waist shields. Hopefully I can get a pretty close colour match.

So I got this guy, but I'm presuming Vortex's tail fin isn't cut properly. What should I do? And if I need to cut it (which i sort of tried, Stanley knife wont go through it). What should I use to cut it?

Looks like a mould fail, you can see the outline of the clips in the photo. Is it solid plastic? You could try going gently with a hobby knife or razor saw, or you could try a dremel. Might be easier to see if you can get a replacement part for your vendor, though.

Think I might have to get myself a hobby knife, do they end up being pretty sharp? As this plastic is a good 1mm~ thick? And sadly I purchased it off ebay

Yeah, I'd say they're pretty sharp and reasonably cheap, plus it's a good tool to have on hand. I suggest taking it gently and carve out a rough square, then finish with an emery board followed by sand paper to get the clips right. Try and support it on a block of wood or something so you have a flat surface to cut on. Try test fitting as you go to make sure you don't take too much off but it should be fairly forgiving. Are they not releasing a G2 version of this upgrade or is the black it? That's actually what I am waiting for as I want the purple camo.
