Aside from them being seemingly less common in general than the 84-86 lines, I'm faced with the choice of paying a bundle for a complete / incomplete but at least with partner toy or buying a (often much) cheaper headless one and trying to get the head later.

But it seems like the heads being sold separately only happens very rarely, so I'm a bit wary of buying a headless toy only to be stuck having to shell out for a complete one down the road anyway as the only way to get the nebulan.

Has anybody taken this approach to these guys? Is it even worthwhile trying to get them this way, or am I better off just holding out for complete Headmasters and snagging them when I see them?
I find the heads, although expensive, are easier to find then the accessories sometimes.
My first Headmaster was a gunless Mindwipe a good 2 or 3 years ago. I had 2 of them before finally buying a complete one from Skullcruncher recently. a few days later, my mate gave me a Mindwipe gun he got in a lot
I had to buy Squeezeplay twice to get the tail.
Weirdwolf - i still need a gun. (and i've bought 2)
Fangry - the wing shield.
All the small guns for the Jr Autobots.
Buy them once,,, complete,, and save yourself some time (and probably money).
fair enough paying $40 odd for a head if you can get a body for $5 or $10, but $40 odd for a gun or accessory is where i draw the line.
