Here the car mode..... i still need to finish up the robot mode.... He was just a pain to do ......every thing keep going wrong...i was trying using enamel...but using a paint brush left too many lines... with his new head when i tried to push it into the socket , the ball joint snap off.! So had to wait for the super glue to dry... i was peeling the masking tape off it peel with it the paint job underneath as well. ... shaved the front wheel so it more narrow then the back one ..Also added the spikes to the back end because it look hollow before and the front to look like the concept art ... what you guys think?

Added more splatter effect on the white parts ...

Custom head by fakebuster with LED mod for the eyes...switch and battery behind the chest

Painters tip. Never use masking tape when painting. It will do as you mentioned. Use painters tape or hobby tape. The glue is not as strong that it won't ruin whatever is underneath.

Looks brilliant lancalot. Robot mode in particular, it is amazing what a tiny led light can achieve. Cannot say I am overly fond of the pink/purple on the tires and spikes, but that is just a personal thought.

The pink/purple is that im trying to paint a glow effect like on the concept art from teh first page ....but i think i over did it and put it every where same with the damage effect as well ... got abit carried away

I think I like the bot mode a bit more. The car mode, with the spikes and the glow and all the colours and the battle damage looks a bit too busy. I agree that you probably overdid the battle damage a little, although considering all the mishaps you had doing this one, I don't blame you. The head and the LEDs looks great though!

Really cool dude. Also love how this guy's design incorporates the G1 model with a bit of TFP thrown in to give that beefy look.

    I like it.

Yeah regular masking tape is a pain. You can reduce the adhesion by putting the tape on your pants and peeling it off a few times. I've heard that using aluminium foil or blue tack works as well.
