Your best option is to find someone on here willing to go to where he lives...someone physically imposing and not afraid of confrontation.
I remember years ago, after 1 of my items 'disappeared', it reappeared after I told the seller that ppl were going to get him (which they were).

put wouldnt paypal be able to track where the $500 went from the scammer's paypal account? and from there, use the details of the bank account the money was deposited in to find out who the person actually is....

    just a thought....

I hate to say it but in my Ebay experience, the biggest scammers are local Australian sellers.

Almost everytime I have bought an Ebay item from an AU seller who I didn't already know, has ended up badly. This is also reflects in all the scalpers and scammers you see at the Parra Fair.

If you have his details, try to get in contact with the person. Its possible that the dude isn't lying but if you don't get the item within a week or so, ask what is going on and if he doesn't reply with a satisfactory answer, open a Paypal/ebay dispute before the 60 days in which you are able to do so expire.

Take not that many of these loosers like to use delaying tactics so that they can trick you into missing the dispute deadline.
