    Default M-bot's artwork - circa 1986

Remember those pictures you draw that get made into plates/mugs/etc? This is a placemat drawn by yours truly way back in 1986, when I would've been around 9 years old. So grateful my Dad kept it all these years and gifted it back to me a few years ago. A bit yellowed but otherwise in perfect condition. A real keepsake.

Don't lie. You did that last week.

    OK
It is pretty cool that your Dad kept it and gave it back to you.

I'll concede that my art hasn't improved greatly in the intervening years, but it's definitely vintage.

Here's the only pic I have of one of my childhood drawings - it's the pic of G1 Jazz in the centre, which I drew in 1989 or 90. The pic on the left was drawn in 2004 and the one on the right in 2005.

The other day my daughter was playing with some of her toys... and I found them looking like this -- Happy Meal TFP Optimus Prime standing atop Rescue Bots Optimus Prime w/ HMTFP Megatron's missile shoved down his throat! I'm sure that's not how my preschooler meant for it to look like, but dayum!

I was wondering whether discussing / posting pictures we drew as kids was also valid. I guess this answers my question.

Here are two I did, around 1990.

It wasn't the original intention of the thread, but since M-Bot's already let the cat out of the bag...
