Good lord! That episode was friggin hilarious! Especially with Wheeljack's face expressions, Miko getting thrown and burned by Predaking in the background, and Predaking pretty much making Starscream his chew toy.
Even loved that little foreshadowing moment where Predaking had a "genetic memory" of some sort. Shit's gonna go down with him in the future!
However, I'm really sad that Wheeljack had to go solo again... DX I thought he'd stay...
I really enjoyed this episode. Finally they did something with Miko that should've been done a season and a half ago.
Another boring episode with nothing happening (no major plot). This was all about a human in a mech suit. How many more episodes are there left to go?
When I heard this would be a half season and they're reintroducing Predaking (and the possibility of a beast faction) I thought the writers would have to work fast to fit this new story arc and a decent send off for Prime.
They've squandered their last season.
Pro: Wow... an episode where Miko was involved and didn't suck!
Con: I dislike Driftjack even more now than I did before. Seriously... the whole 'rebel without a cause' thing is just seriously lame. Being 'black ops' doesn't even justify it... he's seriously a liability. Ironically it's Wheeljack who can't deal with it now.
Weird: There now seems to be a "Mk III" Armada Vehicon type. Same head as the Mk II, but with the colours of Mk I (i.e. black instead of silver). What's so weird about that? The Armada Vehicons with Starscream seemed to switch between Mk II and Mk III!
"Your head is black... your head is silver!" Evil Betty strikes again
--------------------------------------------------------------
P.S.: the part where Ultra Magnus faces off against Predaking, and he eyes that glowing spot on Predaking's chest; I initially thought, "Oh no, don't tell me they're gonna make Predaking all Smaug-like with his sole weakness being a single spot on his chest" -- but then I saw Ultra Magnus smash that spot only to irritate Predaking even more and get rightfully smacked down! That was a good feint on the part of the writers.

i like this episode ...the fighting was well planed out ...and not a tug a war..
It an average episode for me, Still nothing happening in the BH front. We only get still just Predaking for our beasts. I wonder when they show all the rest - season ender? Hope not.
Things I liked -
Miko doesn't suck in this episode. Aand we they recover a precious artefact - Apex Armor. They have the Phase shifter, This armor and the Forge of Solus... not much going on with that - hopefully the recover more of the items and use it for the upcoming Beast confrontation.
They didn't have to locate Predaking - it can free itself - knew that putting him in ice wont be the end - couldn't be.
Magnus didn't suck in this - we can see he CAN kick butt - good use of the forge - practical use indeed Magnus!
Things I didn't like
Honestly wheeljack is becoming quite irritating not being a team player, really annoyed of his selfish attitude. There's a war going on and now even so with BH and he can't get over a little discipline issue. A lot of Hogwash!
Still nothing happening much on the Predacons development wise - I mean no other beasts yet and there's only a few episodes left - I'd hate to see another rushed ending, where everything is revealed and resolved in the next 10m minutes.

On the other hand, if Magnus was a little less concerned with protocol and a little better able to deal with his troops as individuals - like, say, Optimus Prime does - Wheeljack might not have reacted the way he did. If he'd taken the time to try to demonstrate to WJ why his way is better instead of bad-mouthing his unit and putting him under pressure the whole time, then they probably would have been able to work together. I expect future episodes will address this.
I thought it was another good episode in a show that's been pretty good since the end of Season 1, but that's just me.
I know, right! Wheeljack seriously needs to build a Space Bridge and get over himself. He's like a petulant child who always wants to muck around and gets all pouty when he's pulled into line. Seriously... if I were his commanding officer I'd have him arrested or insubordination. Or executed (re: Sun Tzu's The Art of War).
Wheeljack wouldn't even listen to Optimus half the time. And dude... this is an army and the Autobots are at war! When you're serving in the armed forces, you follow orders. Questioning or defying orders puts lives in danger. If the commanding officer makes the wrong call, then that officer takes full responsibility (such is the burden of command, as Rodimus Prime experienced in G1). Great... now I got that song from Mulan running in my head...
"You're unsuited for the rage of war, so pack up, go home you're through. How could III make maaan out of yooouu?"
...kinda sad when Wheeljack gets outclassed by a freakin' Disney Princess!![]()
