    Default Geek Pride Day.

I was on the radio tonight for Geek Pride Day and gave OTCA a bit of a shout out, as well as talking about geekery including toy collecting and Transformers (my favourite is Lugnut. Surprise!) My written prequel to the radio show is here: http://hapax-legoman.livejournal.com/17160.html

But yes - happy Geek Pride Day to everyone on the forum!

Well, geeks having pride is certainly unusual. It's definitely recent and I think it's a Spanish thing: Día del orgullo friki. But it's the anniversary of the release of Star Wars, it's Towel Day for Hitchhikers Guide fans and the Glorious 25th of May for Discworld fans. So it's a pretty geeky day to start with.
