    Default Alternity GT-R Prime GT-01

My GT-R Prime arrived today from HLJ and since nobody has posted anything on him I thought I'd give it a go. So here are some in hand pics of Prime and his creepy girl.

My initial impression is he's even better than the first version of this mold, but hard to justify the price, I might skip Megatron.

Great car decos I must say - are they stickers or painted on?

Odd that the figure isn't on a scale to fit inside the car ala Human Alliance... very odd.

Hmm, not really. they had the figures scaled for sitting inside for Kissplayers, Binaltech etc and they were inarticulate. These figures look like they are just using the MicroLady body, which has 30 points of articulation (if I remember my Microman spiel well enough.

If they wanted a decent action figure, it wouldn't fit inside

The MP-10 Spike figure fits inside an Alternity Convoy but yep, isn't exactly an action figure despite having some articulation.

It's a really high quality paint job. The QC on the paint job is very good and it's a nice metallic red. My guess is it's that higher quality because this is a JGTC toy first, Transformer second.

Just some first impressions after receiving mine today - holy crap is this thing detailed! There's even tampo's on the wheel rims, so tiny but still recognisable. Beats out Binaltech Smokescreen i think, for most detailed TF vehicle ever.

There's a lot of subtle differences to the original mould to account for the extra bulkiness - which seems to make transform a slight bit harder. If i'm not mistaken the unavoidable dent during transform on the original toy has been corrected which is a pleasing surprise though!

Thanks for posting your quick impressions. I'm still trying to decide which remould to get. The deco looks so nice that I want at least one of them, but I already have the original Alternity Convoy so it's hard to justify picking up more than one.
