Donkey Kong came first, the toy is a great fit and a Real Gear type bio seemed appropriate (but I think it's the poorer recolouring/texting jobs and I'm kind of a tempted to get someone to kitbash it for real). Spittor/Divor as Frogger was a no brainer.
I struggled for a toy for Pacman, I thought Retrax in it's ball mode, but then I looked at Landmine with those 'eyes' in vehicle mode. Those Giant Planet tunnels annoyed me in the cartoon, they spent so long down there, but it fit the bio. Thinking of Cybertron led me to think that Sonic had to be from Speed Planet.
Animated Mixmaster could make a good Mario... Ken/Ryu could be a bit Sunstreaker/Sideswipe.
