Default Masterpiece Soundwave and Acid Storm appearing a bit early at US TRU

It looks like they are turning up a little early in the states. in more than one location

I might stop past my local this Thursday night for a gander, just in case.

Either way I think I'll probably be checking once a week for the next couple months till they hit.

At least you definetly have him and wont have to go through all the stress and searching that the rest of us will have to endure in the upcoming months

Yes he is due here in November? But you'll have to hunt and jump on him quick as soon as he is released.

As 1AZRAEL1 said, it's scheduled to come out here as a Toys R Us exclusive in November. As to how rare or common it will be... hard to tell. Previous TRU exclusive MPs have been common enough (e.g. Grimlock, Rodimus), Starscream was commonly found but sold super quick then became rare, Optimus Prime was initially very rare but then became easier to find a few months later when they released more... but then Thundercracker was heaps hard to find (I personally never found one). So it's kinda hard to predict, though I suppose to err on the side of caution it may be best to assume that it will be uncommon.

The price on the TRU database is $149.99 which is an excellent price for this toy - as you rightfully pointed out, getting the Japanese version will set you back $270. I'd just wait until November and grab a Hasbro version.

On the note, the Jap reissue version will only be out in Oct. I could pull back from the Jap one but I think I like to have one each.

...you do know that Jap is considered a racial slur against Japanese people, right? You can just abbreviate it as "JP" if you can't be bothered typing out "Japanese", as that is an officially accepted abbreviation (e.g. .jp, JPY etc.).
