At least the new Mr Potato head range will make up for it

Apparently Brains (from TF3) might be back for TF4... according to the guy who voiced him.
Brains was a mostly in the movie for comedic relief, but if you read the comic prequel and adaptation (or maybe TFWiki), the character was meant to have some decent back-story that was completely dropped for the movie.

So Grimlock should be a speaking character in the movie, according to one of the upcoming electronic toys. A voice actor (not the one doing Grimlock in the movie... so wouldn't it be great to have Gregg Berger back), has been commissioned to record lines for a Lights & Sounds Grimlock toy.
The video clip might be how the movie Grimlock will sound... or it could be like most Hasbro toys and sound nothing like their onscreen versions.

There might be royalties involved that Hasbro hates paying, but getting the actual voices onto talking toys, makes them worth buying. Just look at GEN Metroplex and the second Stomper Movie Optimus, those give me chills when they speak in my hands the same way they did on the TV screen... and you never want to take the batteries out. But when you have a poor fake voice (like pretty much all other figures), you never play their sounds ever again.

The official art for Grimlock has been released by the official Transformers Facebook page as their new banner (mirrored at fansites)... super-imposed over the current official image of Optimus (which you can see on the First Edition packaging).

Awesomeness! I mustn't get too excited though as I may never see them.
