Human Characters – the good, the bad and the plain irritating!

How do you rate the different human characters in the different Transformer continuities?
Note: Looking mainly at the cartoons and movies as humans tend to be less irritating in comics (generally but not always).

    G1
    *Sparkplug Witwicky – good
    *Spike Witwicky – good
    *Carly Witwicky – good
*Daniel Witwicky – a damn irritant!
    *Chip Chase – fine
*Marrisa Fairborne – good in some, why she had suddenly developed a Texan accent in ‘The Big Broadcast of 2006’ I don’t know

    RID/Armada/Energon/Cybertron
*All irritating for the most part

    Animated
*Sari Sumdac – got cooler as the series went along
*Professor Sumdac – not great but fine
*Captain Fanzone – ‘this is why I hate machines’ – loved it!
*The Headmaster – could have strangled him with that voice of his! Argit off Ben10 has the same one.
*Professor Princess – nice little ‘My Little Pony’ homage/crossover
*The other villains (The Angry Archer, Nanosec etc), all mildly irritating or very one dimensional

    Prime
*Special Agent Fowler – not bad
    *Jack - not bad
    *Raff – tolerable
*Miko – fricken annoying! When she called Optimus’ new form ‘Rad’ I died a little inside
*Silas – very cool, though half the time all I could hear was Lex Luthor

    Movies
    *Sam Witwicky – irritating
    *Sams Dad – ok
*Sams mum – funny in 1st, psychotic in 2nd (see the send up of her on Robot Chicken – hilarious), not bad in the 3rd
*Mikala – uninspiring but lovely to look at
*Carly – not that bright but at least sort of a G1 homage and very physically appealing
*Lennox & Epps – very good! Best humans in the trilogy!
*Simmons – like Sams mum – varied between good and over the top
    *Dutch – very good
*The rest not really interesting enough to comment on, though I did like the Aussie actress from the first one, nice to see a female character that was not there just as eye candy, a romantic interest or comic relief

So what do you think of the various human characters that we have been given over the years?

I'm trying to watch Headmasters at the moment and its not only the humans that are irritating as !@#$.

This is my first time past episode 1 and i keep wanting to smash the dvds.

but regarding humans, i hate them all. they always ruin it for me.

G1: Never really noticed them except maybe Daniel "Hot Rod, look! There's a hole in the shuttle!" Witwicky who was okay.

Unicron Trilogy: Annoying for the most part, Kicker being the worst. I wouldn't trust him to manage a 7-eleven let alone broker intergalactic peace. Shut up Shinji!. To be fair though, the robots were pretty bad too. Perhaps it'd be less annoying in Japanese.

Animated: Sari was fun at first but as soon as we realised she's Cybertronian it was all "Check me out. Imma badass yo!"

Prime: The kids were fine, Jack and Raph sliding towards boring.
Fowler was just the right mix of humour, competence and exasperation.
June Darby was just Jack's mom for the most part.

I agree on Armada and Energon, I'm watching Armada now for the first time and want Megatron to kill them, from what I remember of Kicker he is the worst of all time.

The RID kid was neither good or bad, somewhere in-between.

Cybertron tho, I feel that they were the best human companions in the 2000's. Didn't annoy me and I ended up liking them for the most part.
