Does look kinda weird, though I guess Spongebob and the others did too, although I could have sworn I spied an inanimate carbon rod which would be amusing. I wonder if the couch is accurately portrayed?

I don't think the couch will fit in the house.. If it did it would only fit 2 mini figs. I wouldn't be surprised if these is a couch set that fits the whole family
