Now put it in Gerwalk mode (arms up, legs down).

Disclaimer: I'm using the Robotech definition of "Gerwalk." In Macross Gerwalk is the same as Guardian (re: Robotech II sourcebooks).

    (offtopic)
By Robotech standards yours is in Guardian mode, not Gerwalk mode. By Macross standards it's Gerwalk (Macross doesn't make a distinction between the Gerwalk with arms deployed or not whereas Robotech does).

    Great Review!!

I have been waiting for this figure, but as others have mentioned not as great as it could be. I still am hoping to get hold of one.

    Kyle,
If I were you, I wouldn't spend a cent on him - the reviews for him are shocking...

As soon as you take it out of the box, you'll probably get disappointed & immediately wanna exchange him for something else...

Judging from these pictures, Animated Blitzwing doesn't come off as being the acme of triple-changing Transformers by 2008 standards.

Animated and Blitzwing are the perfect Blitzwings... yeah man, they're the only Blitzwings!
    Robot MODE Doh!

And put animated blitzwing in robot MODE with g1 blitzwing and you have the perfect blitzwing.

    Geddit? Gottit? Goodit.

And yea, as triple changers go, nothing has beaten g1 blitzwing. Ever. I absolutely love tank mode, it's what I display it as, and its jet mode, well, almost all of the current jets that suffer from crap undercarriage could learn a few things from it.
