Conflicted, I like the robot mode and don't mind the scope mode, but the colours and the head are a little off putting. The head in particular needs bigger ears and a chin strap.

Still I really do like the articulated skinny robot mode, though maybe the not Magnifcius version is better.......

Robot mode is ok. The rest is a fail. Do you get chips, nuggets and a drink with it?

Agree with kup about the colours and the face. The other slight downside is the fiddly transformation of the shoulder cannon as seen in Peaugh's not-Magnificus retool. I prefer the not-Magnificus version.

The official Hasbro Perceptor is significantly better than this.
A guy over at TFW did a pretty cool repaint of this mold with the Hasbro head swapped in for good measure:

Basically what this figure should have been to begin with.

1000 times better. If it looked like this, I would be buying it - No question.

Hmmmmm, I wonder how hard that head swap would be.

Actually I don't think, it's out yet. This must be a repainted black version.

In the thread over at TFW he said he had to modify the ball joint so it's not just a case of popping a head off one figure and onto another figure:

He also made a Soundwave version:
