I think im in love![]()
Wonder how the cab forms part of the robot ...
If they want a posable head and arms for the final form the cab will just have to bend to make the legs and that's it.
Using the Cab Head as the underpart for the Final Form Head will most likely have limitations on articulation and could possibly make odd proportions - hecck look at this custom MP Ultra Magnus. Yes it's a custom but look how big the head gets with a standard MP head - http://www.marksprojects.com/upum5.jpg
As for the arms I think from memory the arms for the Final Form UM came from the trailer anyways and not from the cab.
I would not mind having the cab not be able to transform into an individual Prime-like bot, who would be out of scale (unless it's Minimus Ambus!). It's not a gimmick that would add value to the final objective of a MP UM.
変われ! ヘッドマスター! Kaware! Headmaster!
戦え! ヘッドマスター! Tatakae! Headmaster!
It's not so much the novelty of having that gimmick - it's more because traditionally, UM is a white Prime who then combines with his trailer to become the armoured blue and red character we're so familiar with.
I agree that getting the scale and design right would be more difficult, but for me it just wouldn't be UM if he didn't combine with his trailer.
Is there any indication of size on those CG renders?
Because City Commander already scales pretty well with classics voyagers and deluxes.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.
its supposed to be MP sized it looks good but not quakewave good imo something just doesnt look right cant put my finger on what
