Things that tells me that this toy is a Knock Off:
1/ It's called "Alpha Base Robot" (in both Korean and English). No Transformers logos or official artwork anywhere.
2/ "Power Rangers" looking dudes above the Alpha Base Robot logo.
3/ Weird UFO-space-battle-station thing behind the robot art.
4/ Colours are wrong.
5/ Manufactured by "Academy" - afaik the company that is officially licensed to distribute Transformers in Korea is Sonokong.
6/ Giga and Mega appear to be absent.
7/ It has Star Sabre's head! In blue! (O_o)
8/ It comes with a pack of cigarettes!

...I would report this seller asap.

afaik the Hasbro and Takara versions of Overlord are, toywise, identical.

Nope. There's no pre-TF for it. None of the 1988 Transformers have pre-TFs.

Microman-based TFs are:
+ Megatron
+ Browning
+ Reflector
+ Soundwave
+ Blaster
+ Decepticon cassettes (1984)
+ Perceptor
+ Reflector

Diaclone-based Transformers are:
+ Optimus Prime
+ Autobot cars (1984-85)
+ Decepticon jets (1984)
+ Jumpstarters
+ Dinobots
+ Insecticons
+ Triple Changers (1985)
+ Constructicons
+ Trainbots
+ Omnibots
+ Powerdasher
+ Ultra Magnus

Transformers which come from other non-Takara pre-TF sources are:
+ Jetfire (Macross)
+ Omega Supreme (Mechabot-1)
+ Sky Lynx (?)
+ Shockwave (Gunborg)
+ Deluxe Autobots (Dorvack)
+ Deluxe Insecticons (Beetras)

Other than these Transformers, all Transformers were created exclusively for the Transformers line and thus have no Pre-Transformer toy versions. Some Transformers were based on abandoned pre-TF concepts/designs, like the Scramble City TFs (originally designed for Diaclone but abandoned for that line). And some TF moulds have since been reused in other toy lines, like Action Master Optimus Prime's vehicle which was repainted and reused in Microman. But none of this applies to Overlord.
