Sorry to say but if you're expecting AOE to have five Dinobots and that their names will be Grimlock, Sludge, Snarl, Swoop and Slag, you are destined for disappointment. See Dino and Que and the Constructicons and so on.

Some interesting speculation that leader Jetfire could indeed be a white version of the ROTF Leader, and that Megatron could be a reuse of the movie Leader Brawl mold.
That would be unfortunate if true, but would make more sense than what we are all hoping for.

How does that make more sense? Leader Jetfire didn't sell well and was more an add-on for leader Optimus Prime.

Less investment for Hasbro than what we are hoping for with two all new Leader molds.
Means they can get another use out of those old molds. Also would then make them fit with the GDO Ironhide and Starscream.
Two new figures like thst, at Leader scale seems a bit risky for the current more conservative post - Archer Hasbro.
Jetfire is certainly a crap figure, but I wouldn't be surprised. We have seen some odd entries for the Platinum stuff.
It's all speculation of course. I hope they're both new molds with the general Classics aesthetics, but at the same time wonder if it's just wishful thinking.
But it's all speculation anyway. We simply don't know. I just thought that theory worthy of mention, as it does seem somewhat plausible in many ways. Biggest drawback being as you mentioned, that Jetfire isn't a good toy on its own. But it's been proven time and time again that fans will buy it if it has a G1 homage in the paint scheme.

It's not just a question of Hasbro making use of an under-used mold. If retailers remember that Leader Jetfire was a dud then it will not be ordered.
Jetfire and Megatron were listed under Generations, yeah? Not TF4... TF4 I could makes some sense out of, but not Generations.

There is precedent as the two Leader toys I mentioned before, the GDOs, are Generations releases, despite being movie molds.
And there is going to be TF4 product released under the Generations banner anyway. I believe the Optimus we've already seen is slated to be a Generations release.
So yeah, the theory isn't totally crazy.
I just hope it's wrong. Who doesn't want new mold G1 Jetfire and Megs? Personally I am hoping that Megs is a tank like his Legends card art.
Jetfire: just amaze me, Hasbro. I love the Classics toy, but man, I'd love for this to be a stronger Skyfire toy, or, considering what they just went through, one that hews closer to the Macross look. Just make it badass.
