They're SCF - Super Collection Figures for Takara and HOC - Heroes of Cybertron for hasbro.
SCFs are in blind boxes and has 10 sets (wave) or Acts. HOCs have carded bubble packaging. SCFs have pewter (like grey stone) versions and clear versions as well.

Shrapnel's box art looked weird to me but a Google show it's the typical art. I can picture most 84-85 box art in my head but somehow I don't think I've ever seen Shrapnel's art before!
Anyway, picked up the latest issue of RID and ReGenOne today. Senior's cover this time is black and white which is a bit boring, a bit plain looking.
