    Default Star Wars Battlefront 2

Don't know if anyone here has ever played this. Been out for more than a couple of years now but still a helluva lot of fun. It's fast and furious and great for Star Wars fans.
We've just got a new Australian server running it so if you do have it jump on for some carnage in a galaxy far, far away.

I agree. I still love playing this game on my PS2. Although I may have to try and snag a cheap PC version to play online.

BTW why am I not surprised Digger that you include a screenshot of Aayla Secura's (spelling?) butt

    Spelling is correct!

It was a very, very popular game for PS2. Not so much for PC which is a shame because that's where the big multiplayer battles happen. I'm not sure about the online PS2 community.

If you do get a PC version patch it to v1.1 and set the online options to 'search all regions' to find our server.
Also the patch must be whatever format your disc is. i.e. CD or DVD

I suck at games that require fast reactions (i.e. most games).

Last time I played CS, I saw an enemy player far away and pointed my rifle at him. Then instead of shooting him, for some reason my finger slipped and I put away the rifle and took out the knife instead. I didn't know whether the other guy was shocked or laughing his head off when he killed me.

I enjoyed Battlefront 2 (as opposed to the first one). I wish I had the time to learn multiplayer.

Love the pic of the trooper riding the Snowspeeder.

I just got a Quadcore so I would like to get into something worthwhile. UT3 was a disaster

Just keep at it and you'll adapt.
Which brings us to where we are today...

I got both this and the original for PS2. It was an awsome game, just wish they had moved all the maps from the 1st one to the 2nd one. Spose that's the advantage of having it on PC
The best thing I remember about it is playing on the degobah(sp?) map. It gets so spooky when they start playing the song from EpIII when Anakin waits at the Temple while Mace goes to arrest Palpatine.
All the mist and creepy music really freaks me out and puts me on edge

Yeah we're about to upload map pack 1 (1st game maps) onto the server. Bespin platforms is a personal favourite.
We also have a large custom map made by a clan member where it's Jedi vs Mandalorians. Lotta carnage...lotta fun.

I never really liked Ki-adi Mundi so to see him burn brought some sweet and perverse inner joy....
