Mel, IMO, FWIW, Lego is the best quality toy on the market, both in terms of manufacturing and instilling creativity.

But, the Lego Batman Tumbler sucks. Get the parts to build this one instead:

Nice pics Fungal. Great classic space sets too. I would have loved the insect ones. I'm sad the Exo-force line ended. Would have been great if they made them eventually transform or become gestalts.

And that Tumbler is much nicer than the retail product jaydisc. I was gonna get the tumbler but upon closer inspection I wasn't very impressed at all.

Mel. If you want to start Lego I suggest:

    - Creator: if you want just pure Lego building using mostly standard bricks and plates
    - Technic: if you like moving parts and complicated builds
    - City: for the figs, although a lot of build shortcuts using premade peices.

I'd reccomend Mars Mission or Agents as they have interesting builds and a lot of play value. They are a bit costly but sales should lighten that load.

Nice Jaydisc, my boyfriend was telling me that he likes the Bat Mobile Lego version also.. Thanks guys, I am still trying very hard to not buy ANY Lego at all, but I'm afraid the coming Target sale will not keep my itchy fingers to my pocket very well.

And stompy I still like that Green 3-in-1 dinosaur pack which I really can't remember what its called. THe starwars one looks good too.

Oh and I actually saw a guy selling Lego Transformers on ebay once. They looked like the Armada vehicles but built with Lego blocks, seemed to be an authentic product too. OH yah here they are:

As for the transformer BTR kits, they arn't actually LEGO brand. Look like yes, but no they are not LEGO.

    This one Mel?:

Just be aware you can't build all three at the same time. The Trex and the Pteradactyl are alternative models. It's mighty sturdy and chunky in it's build with light-up eyes.

I'd reccomend set 4894 over this one but depends what you like more.
