Since the process to make toys can start years in advance of a product landing on the shelf I'd guess this is a pre-lawsuit design so Hasbro probably got permission. That lawsuit from what I understand stemmed from the GI Joe team not realising they needed to ask permission to do a G1 Jetfire toy. The Transformers team apparently always asked permission first. Only now thanks to the ruling of dismissed with prejudice they no longer need permission at all.

If this is leader size, would this be to scale to Masterpiece I wonder?

Unlikely. The Generations Leader Class Optimus we saw previewed last year was apparently about the size of an old Voyager.

EDIT: I hope that doesn't mean it's Voyager Jetfire size.

Two things I dislike about using the old Jetfire Valkyrie alt mode is that being based on a Tomcat, it makes no sense whatsoever for a Generations Jetfire to be so huge in alt mode.

The other thing being it puts him in direct competition with said Valkyries, and sadly when comparing the ingenuity of such toys the Valkyries always win.

I hope it's legit, as i'd throw money at it asap. But I'm always skeptical when I read "Additional image courtesy of 4Chan including the accessories: ".

Daca toys Titan and Kronos both appear to be progressing well I thought.

The designer seems like a pretty big fan himself and very open to suggestions and advice during the whole production process.

I'm pretty excited to see how these both turn out. And it's pretty cool daca will be releasing an IDW inspired Jetfire and a G1 toon inspired skyfire

Happy with the voyager and while I am excited to see Autobots other than Prime and Bumblebee get leader class figures I am unsure why Jetfire was their first choice.

Great looking toy that looks close enough to the IDW version (who hasn't really had much to do of late but guard a cell, a perfect use for one of Cybertrons best and brightest.) so if it happens to get made I hope it sells brilliantly.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)

Oh good, that means I can still look forward to Fanstoys' yet to be revealed Jetfire for my Masterpiece fix.

This is how Takara Tomy and Hasbro should be combating the 3rd party companies.

That said, I don't have any affinity for Jetfire. I agree it looks great but don't have a place in my collection for it.

I wonder if it'll ever be seen on local shelves.
Any figure that comes with swords demands wrist articulation.
