    Default MP-12 Sideswipe issues?

Apparently there were some issues with the first issue of MP-12? How serious are they?

I'm trying to stick to the original cartoon colours to limit the collection, so that avoids the black lambo.

I know they are reissuing the original MP-12.. but you won't know you're actually getting a 2nd production or 1st

So I'm thinking of just getting the 1st production.

Considering the amount of knock offs of Lambor, I'd suggest either you order from a seller you trust, or try here: http://www.bigbadtoystore.com/bbts/p...36&mode=retail

Clearly labelled as the 2nd production run, and (besides the occasional slow shipment), BBTS have never done me any wrong.

BBTS have a Pile of Loot option if you pay by card. being a pre-order, you'll only pay when it arrives, plus your per-shipment shipping cost and the item's per-pound shipping cost(s). Have BBTS hold onto it for a bit and you can order other stuff and ship it all together and save a heap on postage, as long as you have patience.

I usually ship my POL about once every 4-5 months. Saves a tonne.

Mine are fine and I have no issue with them.

I have MP-12 too and his shoulders are fine. If anything I thought the shoulders on my MP-14 Alert are a tiny bit looser than Sideswipe's. Either way I really like them both and it didn't stop me from ordering 2 more

The shoulders on my MP Lambor (and two others that I've seen/handled) aren't loose per se, but they don't clip/lock in firmly enough to withstand even a moderate amount of toy play (e.g. swinging his arms about to make him punch or wrestle other bots etc.). It's fine for posing and display, so it's no where near as bad as say TF1 Deluxe Brawl or TF Gen Blitzwing (the latter being the worst), but I personally found it rather disappointing. I've heard that MP Alert shares the same issues with its shoulders, but I've personally not seen/handled that toy IRL yet.

the issue with the first release isn't about the shoulder at all... it was about the paint finish ..... mainly on the doors , the red colours don't match , miss align , smudges of the autobot logo on the bonnet...

I think most people complaining about issues at release wasn't the shoulders. Which both my Countach's are fine in that respect and with a little luck G2 Lambor will be fine also. The big problem at first was the paint apps. When you have them in car mode all the plastic on the body of the car you are looking at is painted, thats not red plastic on Lambor, it's paint. In fact all the Autobot cars have had some level of paint on their bodys and someone is always complaining they got a bad spot on them. Lambor and Streak are the worst for me with each with a minor blob of paint on their hoods.
