They fold up and clip on to the bottom of the wings, so they are contained. If you look closely at the underside (in robot mode) of the wings you'll be able to see where they go.

ETA: To clarify, the back of the wings in bot mode. There is a hole on the swords that fits on to the tabs on the back of the wings, and you can make out where the round part where the swords fold and the point of them are meant to go. Sorry I can't provide pics but hope that helps!
