I wouldn't worry too much. He's probably just referring to certain diecast parts like that found in the torso of MP10, not MP01

    MPスターセイバーに関して、言い忘れていた事が! MPスターセイバーには、MPウルトラマグナス同様に 、一部ダイキャストパーツが使用されています。これに関しては、以後テストショット画像と合わせて詳細を御 紹介しようと思います。

Hopefully Gok or someone else fluent in Japanese can accurately translate it.

I don't remember them saying it was spring-loaded (or otherwise) fireable. I do remember them saying you can use your imagination.

i bought mine from robotkingdom and they said they sold out.

just checked hlj and anime export and they both are all sold out. so thats probably why there's a price increase - because there won't be any more until a reissue.

Well.... I don't expect a jump of nearly double the price for a newly released figure. I mean their g2, prowl etc are pretty reasonable.

YES! So much yes. I would like to see inner frame in die-cast at least and some rubber tires.

Was disappointed that they didn't even add rubber to Wheeljack or the Autobot cast. For the price we pay you'd think they would. Its like a regular toy release not a MP.
