That was Titus Welliver as Savoy. I recognized him too... he played The Man in Black (aka the Monster or the Black Smoke, Jacob's twin brother) on Lost.

News.com.au is reporting that the teaser trailer has been well received by fans around the world. It certainly appears as though expectations are just as high as they were for the first movie. Fingers crossed!

Is like to know what they define as a "fan" and where they get this info? I'd say it has been received with extremely cautious optimism at best. As in at least it doesn't look as bad as ROTF.

I hope it's DOTM quality and not ROTF or worse, Battleship.

I can watch DOTM over and over as long as I don't think to hard about the plot, perfect big budget blockbuster quality for me.

On a minor note, I received an email at 7 a.m. this morning from "Transformers Movie" (Paramount Pictures) titled "New Trailer Inside", with just an image link to the new trailer. Clicking on the trailer link redirects to their official movie site at http://www.transformersmovie.com.au/. Interesting how the domain is au.
