I can't take any of the Dinobots seriously anymore with those elf shoes.

I was surprised to find I liked Slug more than Scorn. I wasn't expecting that from looking at the packages. I do think Slug's head is a little too small but maybe it feels that way because the knight helmet is a bit featureless.

I like the way the transformation deals with the head and fore-legs; it feels exactly like what I expect a Bay movie Dinobot transformation to look like.

I actually quite liked this figure, especially after being disappointed with Crosshairs. Nice (if somewhat easy) transformation, looks really good in both modes as well and the two stylized swords are very cool. The opening and closing jaw is a nice touch.

The only things I don't like about the figure are the colour scheme and the head - both are quite cool, especially the head, but certainly belong on a Decepticon rather than a Dinobot where they just don't suit and I am making the prediction the colours wont be movie accurate.

Haha, but when transformers 4.5 is out - "Transformers: Optimus' First Christmas". We're going to need someone to help deliver the presents and Christmas cheer.

That's because they're a stylised representation of the armour pieces. It's not the first time they've been presented like this in popular culture.

This is not a feature... I gather. But I found "Slags" swords can fit inside his wrists plates with the hands tucked in. And to be quite honest... I think it looks amazing. With a few tweaks and making more of him stick out to give him a bulkier look. It has made me really love the Dinobots in the new line.
