You complain about the throne pretty heavily (between your review and on these boards), but it's worth noting that in the markets it is designed to be sold in, the throne is (correct me if I'm wrong) a free premium. Shipping costs between secondary suppliers and customer demand (ie: the expectation that people will pay more).

That's hardly something to complain about Hasbro for, is it?

Don't get me wrong, crap is crap, but realistically, were Hasbro Asia charging for it? If not, I don't think you can call them out for it being cheaply made.

I've no idea if Hasbro Asia are charging for it, as I think BBTS and TFSource are both asking around $20 extra for it. I dont even know of any retailers in Taiwan (which apparently is the target country for this release) that are listing this.

For me, the Asian exclusives include the coins, and I can most definitely say the coins are far better quality than this throne. At least the coins are molded nicely and are metal! The throne is hollow plastic like a kid's mask. I wouldnt mind if it was hollow but a complete closed hard plastic throne. That would be far better and more stable.

I agree, the throne is disappointing, but BBTS mentioned they are being charged more to ship the throne to them, and thus the extra cost. I just think it's harsh to be so tough on what is intended as a free premium for the intended market, y'know?

Perhaps my initial impressions might have been different if the cost was nil, but I think even then I would've been disappointed and voiced the same opinion. A couple of folks here seemed quite insistent on paying around $40-$50 for me to ship the throne to them! I'm still in two minds about that cos I seriously feel like I'd be screwing them over! lol

About BBTS though, has anyone ever had to deal with them about a replacement? I have been assured that they are great, but they have not responded to my email with the details on the manufacturing error, and it's been about 3 days now!

They are prompt enough, three days for a standard reply is long. Did you get an email receipt when you contacted them?
Which brings us to where we are today...

Yep it was a free premium no point in complaining about it since as far Hasbro is concerned it's a free extra. The reason you got charged extra is BBTS and TFsource had to pay extra to have it shipped to the US so they had to pass on the cost (at least thats what BBTS said about the extra cost).

Yes, I got the usual customer service auto reply email response indicating they received the email and would reply as soon as possible. Problem is they have no phone number to call, so customers are pretty much forced to wait for email responses. Hopefully they email tomorrow. If not, I guess I can only email them again.

You're not the only one who has the problem with two right elbow joints. They are possibly contacting Hasbro or waiting for a reply from them about it if it's widespread - dunno...

Contacting them again after three business days wouldn't be unreasonable, to me anyway.

You can't blame the live band for not being worth the price you paid the scalper. Disappointment is one thing, but for a free premium, I don't think it's fair to rake Hasbro over the coals (on this one!).

Big Bad were awesome when I had a YOTH MP Optimus have a defective axe. They got a replacement organised and shipped it to me at no cost. Give them time, I'm sure they'll sort you out.

And the best weapon against scalpers is to not give them business.
