You're right. I'm not a "
real" Nintendo fan

I was when I was 14, but now life tends to get in the way. In the last 6 months I've probably spent no more than 3 hours gaming. My PS3 has spent more time playing movies and streaming. But, I don't think that I'm asking too much for them to add a few simple features that allow me to completely replace my PS3 and not lose any capabilities. I can't see Nintendo's failure to adapt to the market as a good long term business solution, as historically any company that fails to evolve to the market doesn't do too well. And all you "real" fans, what are you going to play if/when Nintendo shuts up shop?
