Classics 2-pack Optimus: No longer a bad toy
When I first opened my 2-pack - to be honest, I was extremely underwhelmed by the toy. I thought it looked kinda good, but it felt so CHEAP in my hands :\ So, what do I have to do?
REPAINT.
Here's how he looks so far (after a nice relaxing morning at work - painting this) - I didn't bring my blue paints - so the blue is as yet still untouched and may undergo similar treatment.
Either way, tell me what ya'll think thus far. (iceburn has seen it so far
)
Enjoy!

(the last two were taken without colour correction (for fluoro lights)

I think the primary deficiency of the toy isn't its paint job but its alt mode which is cheap and gap ridden. The paint apps you've added though have enhanced its robot mode immensely.

About this figure's "Alt mode" - I was always told that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all...
Oh & this red seems to be much more vibrant than his original shade...

it's way more "superior" than what Hasbro has supplied us with...
loving the G1 Prime red look...
