    Just an observation - these AoE toys are looking more like action figures and a lot less like Transformers.

    He's not a bad figure-in fact I think both the robot mode and alt mode look really nice. However he just feels a little flat, and the backpack is too much (esp the side parts-he looks like Buzz Lightyear!).

    I opened mine up today. I like him. Yeah he has a backpack but he can't transform like he does in AoE! I really think that the way cab collapses is neat.

    Btw Gok, in that pic of galvy running you forgot to fold the front bumper of the cab down.

    I don't have a problem with it either. Bit different to the usual transformations. And the truck mode is really great.

    Considering how he 'transforms' in the movie, shellforming was pretty much the toy designers' best (only?) option.

    I agree. And this is more or less how I feel about all the Age of Extinction toys. I think that HasTak designers have actually done a reasonably good job considering the movie designs and concepts which just do not translate well as toys.
