I reckon if we're going to see them, now's the time *fingers crossed*

I just had a terrible thought. IDW Spoilers: What if we do get Devastator but we get Hook as the right leg and Prowl as the head!

Why would that be terrible? They like the way he thinks!

We could see more Dinobots, but I would say they will leave them for a while, as we will first probably see a boxset of the movie ones in G1 colours in a platinum generations release.

There was talk of Hasbro getting behind something from the IDW-verse and that the IDW people were quite surprised and delighted by it. People speculated it was going to be a Megatron with an Autobot badge, but this theory of yours could be more on the money.

If I had to guess, I'd say you'd get a Devastator with the ability to do that, rather than a Devastator built specifically for that.

I don't think Hasbro would even try a multi-configuration Devastator. It would be awesome but just wouldn't jive with their current policy of simpler transformation.

I agree. Have the six constructicons, then give them the ability afterward to combine with Prowl. It'll please everyone.

He's due though. If its Combiners that Hasbro have in their sights next, he's too iconic not to do. And if they can slip in a little extra like that, then they're getting some extra mileage out of him.

After staring at that voyager optimus prime for a couple minutes, I've already figured out 98% of its transformation... I'm just not certain how the head stores, but if they showed the back of the figure, theres probably a little section where it tucks into. =\
