Default How hard would it be to make our own live action movie?

    As the title says...
With everyone whinging and moaning about the live action movies that Mr Bay makes, I would of thought some talented fans of the brand would of thought of some way to make our own G1 fan inspired live action movie (or animated) by now. Or even a Classics style of movie. Do you think it would be possible with all the TF fans around the world? Perhaps crowdfunding? Donations from worldwide TF fans? I suppose the biggest hurdle would be Hasbro licensing. 3rd party perhaps. I dunno.....what do you guys reckon? I KNOW IT WOULD NEVER HAPPEN but we can dream. Anyone have $200 million plus they want to part with?

High quality stop motion with good scale tricks and Star Wars ROTS-level green screen on a good program with a good editor. We could easily pull it off.
    Seeking the Following:
    - CW Brawl

Looking at what Star Trek fans have done with Star Trek Continues, I suppose it's possible. But then again, I'd say that the Trek fandom is arguably more intensely passionate than Transformers... after all, they've actually managed to make Klingon a living language. For those who don't know how that works, it means that it has to be spoken by an entire generation of people as their first language*. Yeah, so this means that there have been a lot of Star Trek fans who went and learnt how to speak Klingon as their second language, but then spoke it to their children at home so it became their first language! I mean, I'm doing the same thing by speaking to my daughter in Japanese... but Japanese isn't a constructed artificial scifi language!

P.S.: Another hurdle would be getting Hasbro's consent and other IP issues. For example, ever noticed that Star Trek Continues doesn't have the classic "swoosh" sound for the doors? That's because they couldn't obtain the rights to use that sound. Even IDW's Mars Attacks! comics aren't allowed to use the "ak ak ak" sound, because it's a trademarked sound effect, even in text! And as most of us know, in the Beast Wars episode where Ravage transforms into a cassette, he was meant to play the G1 theme song, but Mainframe couldn't get the rights to it off Sunbow... so we just hear the Beast Wars riff instead.

*This is why languages like Latin are classified as dead languages. Although there are still a lot of people who continue to speak Latin today (it's the official language of Vatican City), nobody speaks it as their first language. e.g. while every Pope can speak Latin, Pope Francis' first languages would be Spanish and Italian, Benedict's is German, John Paul II's was Polish etc. But to think that Klingon has now 'outclassed' Latin in terms of actually having native speakers! Phwoar! I'd like to see Tolkien fans try and do this with Sindarin!
