    Default Custom Flareup

Seeing the botcon release of Flareup i decided to make my own as i just love her colour scheme . I decide to use a first edition Arcee as i think that a better figure , so thanks to Jinto for her. I got a few ideas of what to colour her as i just gotten some candy colour that i like to test out .... I just always love apple candy red and it so hard to produce properly , i tried so many different type and technique but this turn out really good finally !!
i almost finished her ...just need to clear coat ...
but here some WIP pics first....
I fill in all the screw holes and pin marks up ...the figure got so many on the legs!! then sanding it down ....i hate doing that the most ! so i rushed it alittle , and some parts isn't as perfect as i liked ... i was just iching to try out the new candy colours!!

    Primer , base coat , masking ....

Finally the candy apple red !!!

Is that a black base coat? What brand of paint are you using?

I agree that the gap filling can be a pain. But so worth it!

Looking forward to the finished product. Don't rush!!!
