All Japanese MPs in Japan use their Japanese G1 names (e.g. Convoy, Lambor, Alert, Condor, Jaguar, Bumble etc.), so an MP Jazz would invariably be called "Meister" anyway. Unless they went the other way and called the red version "Jazz."

That sounds reasonable. The reason I brought that up was because the TakaraTomy feedback/survey you linked to once says 'Jazz' not 'Meister' in katakana (unless I'm reading it wrong ).
