I bought my Armour for vf-25S at $165 but the vf-25F Armour is way over board.

The VF-25S is priced so high that nobody bothered to even look at the parts any more. Whereas the 25F was reissued but the parts went sky high.

yeah you can almost buy rvf-171 which is why I totally boycott the renewal vf-25f
