Which both got released in 2008 & I snapped up two pairs of each. Now I'm just itching for VI Sport Blues:

to be released again. I actually had a pair of Maroons back in the day.

Did you line up at footlocker for your SJs? Dplayground can reserve a pair at the time - though they've closed shop. That's where I got my first KBIV - white/black/purple.

I want the first MP Trainers and his basketball shoe. But those don't get much love in Oz and gets sold out in an hr from the phils.

I've got the generic asian look but no chinese/japanese/other asian accent.
But yeah, am proud to be one.

I never bought kicks from Dplayground - just out of my way. Did pick up a hat & some other random stuff though.

Yeah agreed - 11s seem to be shelf warming nowadays - have feet shrunken or something?

Picked up a pair of AJ2010's a couple of weeks ago at the Nike outlet in a 10 (with only another pair left on the shelf) but there weren't any 10.5s (my usual size) and there were plenty of 11s still.

$180 was the list price but it was during a 30% off sale, so $126 - it's the all black colourway

I like that 2010 colourway the best, but I managed the black/carolina blue (also sz10) during a 40% off - at $108 it was hard to argue!

OG's or retro? I was able to secure the retro thru online store.
I value the Aston Martin Pack which i was able to buy in Oz

$US300+ vs A$500 is pretty steep though.

Either - but my days of collecting kicks are now over so despite them being my holy grail, I'll probably never actively seek them out (or pay more than RRP for them).

I've never lined up for kicks before - when I used to collect them and if I really wanted something, the day before launch, I would bribe one of the staff to set aside a pair in my size.

Haha, VP - Nope my size always sold out first.
That pic was old enough that when I joined forums I preferred to be anonymous and didn't really interact w/ members.

That staff could get fired. It seems like $50 isn't worth it.

And no, that staff couldn't get fired - not when they're the Manager.

I never even had to get out of the car most of the time... sit outside the Footlocker in Pitt St and would have her bring it out to me in the car
