Would anyone be screaming in this case that their toy is no longer misb?

^Yep, me... and certainly most other misb collectors.

This news sucks the big one.

ill probably cancel my preorder if you can only buy "opened but with Chinese instructions" versions.

What they should have done is left the product MISB and have the instructions accompany the box. That way, purchasers can decide what they want to do.

except you know that the instructions would have been in a small bag Taped to the box in some horrid way that would ruin it for non misb collectors

silly laws like this ruin fun for everyone.

Or they could do what Hasbro Australia's done w/ MP Wheeljack, Bumblebee (presumably) and Ultra Magnus and just replace the Japanese instructions with the translated instructions while the toy is being packed and sealed in the factory. It does require more fore-planning (e.g. I had to complete my work on the MP22 booklet by mid October for a late December release), but it's definitely doable.

i'm climbing up on to my rooftop now.

Makes 0 difference to me in this instance. If they've all left the factory like that, not much you can do.

Yeah I know, was wondering anyone was going to say this is not acceptable .
I have seen other countries seal wrap their premium toys sometimes and is not of factory.
