    Default DX9 D05 Chigurh By DX9 (Astrotrain)

24 cm tall is the same height as MP-10.
Which brings us to where we are today...

Prototype pics are up on TFW2005 etc.

    It looks pretty amazing.

EDIT - ah, crap. I was thinking of a different not-Astrotrain, Toyworld's Devilstar. Looks even better than this (IMO).

Really? I'm preferring this one over Devilstar except for the shuttle mode, which doesn't really worry me that much.

Devilstar is about 22.5cm up for preorder on chimungmung. So tw Devilstar is only about 1.5 cm shorter. Hrmmmmmm.

The toy world one looks like a bigger g1 version

This one looks like what I imagine a masterpiece one would look like

I think neither of them look good in robot mode.
    Toyworld Devilstar for comparison.
I do like their alt modes though

hmm I think I prefer this one more than the devilstar one. It's big enough though for CHUG line as he should be, but then it's kinda too big this time.

At least this one is the right colour Train mode looks pretty nice. Not sure if it'll suit MP though. It's more in line with CHUG.

Yet another case of two Third parties announcing a toy based on the same character at the same time, they must be psychic.

Both not Astrotrains have merits, and the Takara version of the original Henkei toy was rather fine at the time, though I would like a bigger one with the classic locomotive mode. Going to wait this one out till we see some more finished prototypes.
