There is always the possibility. I know the company is still in business, they have that BMOG platypus coming out at BotCon 2015, and they are trying to set up some alternative way of making 6 inch figures. Whether they will still make Desolataur first, or one of the other figure is still unknown. I think they need to get some prototypes made before they can do anything, especially if they are doing another Kickstarter. The biggest negative on that last Kickstarter was only having the one prototype and only getting it painted 3 days before the campaign ended. If they ever do that again the MUST start with a selection of fully painted prototypes on day one of the campaign!
Completely agree. I also think that if they're doing another Kickstarter, it might be good to do one real soon whilst many of the backers of that first $71k might react quickly and get one fig shipped this year. Otherwise the delay may be more than half a year, as many pockets will be siphoned by Botcon.

A rather large gallery is online now. Check it out.

Would have been cool to see that gallery before the Kickstarter.
I recently got a chance to review the painted prototype of the Desolataur action figure. You can see it live here:

We have an update on the BMOG platypus mold, which is going into production now.
What’s this? Foil decals? From Reprolabels!
Pictured here with our 3d-printed prototype (not final). Each sheet comes with two visor and pressure gauge options, plus faction symbols and sawblade detailing.
Current plan is for each “Splatterpus” to come with one. More on BMOG-03 as news becomes available.
We will be debuting in an online drop through our web store, and we will have a booth at TFcon in October.
What have we all come to love from Play With This Too? That's right! teaser art of an upcoming project! What is it? What is it called? When will it come out? Who knows?, but it's nice looking. I hope we hear more about it soon.
