    Default KO Devastator.. any issues?

    Hi guys,

might sound like a dumb question, but in my search for this guy.. and a decent price all i can find on ebay is this,

does anyone know if there are any issues with KO's like this one? I'll always have it in combined mode.

    Thanks

I had a KO as a placeholder until the reissue and for display purposes it was fine. Don't think about playing / transforming it too often though.

Big issue is that its a KO.

Baffles me that they put box rankings on a KO. Lol.

I agree with sinner twin. Only an extra 20 bucks for a real one.

I can understand (although not condone) using counterfeits in place of reissues that don't exist (e.g. Headmaster Warriors), but if a recent reissue exists or is coming soon, then I don't get it. And Devastator's been recently reissued twice.

I just use a small placard as a place holder on a shelf. e.g. when I pre-ordered Generations Metroplex, I estimated the amount of necessary shelf space to leave, and put a book end there with a post-it note that said "Metroplex." When I pre-ordered Encore Fortress Maximus, I used my G1 Fortress Maximus to gauge how much space I needed, then just left that spot empty (and put my G1 Fort Max on his new shelf). For me, it's like a 'reserved parking' system; I just leave a spot empty and put a note there, then when the toy comes in, it occupies the reserved space. Ethical/moral issues aside, it's just a lot cheaper than purchasing a counterfeit just to occupy air, only to be discarded when you get the real deal.

Yeah not being a fan of buying and supporting KO's at all.

I just see a chinese shop in china and think twice if its real or not. But def will pay the extra $20 odd for a legit one.

Did i read somewhere that there's a new version of Devastator coming out?

The first link in my post above was for the traditional colour scheme, while the other two were for the more cartoon accurate version -it also comes with a new heads sculpt, but only one trading card as opposed to the first release which from memory has 6 or 7?

Anyhoo, the other Devastator you may be thinking of is the rumoured box set which features all six as part of the Combiner Wars
